All:

I finally found a spare like tube socket I had stashed with another project. That socket was for the VFO power socket. Now all socket holes are properly filled in. Also, I installed the filter choke and I mated the front panel and the restored/cleaned grid-plate meter to the chassis. Nylon washers were used to minimize the wear of the binder head screws holding the panel and the power and plate switches to the chassis. I also installed the phone jack and meter switch using new hardware.

Nothing old (saved for the recycled AT-1 specific components) is going back on this unit! Rebuilding the AT-1 is almost as fun as doing the kit. BTW, there is a date stamp on the meter: Mar 1954. I can only imagine the previous owner(s) who originally put this kit together.
