[Heathkit] Question on 6146A Tube

Being a cheap S.O.B., I'd say put 'em on a good tube tester, see how
closely the test to each other. If reasonable "I'd plug 'em in!" Your
book tells you how to neutralize. I used to be a T.V. man years ago
"Many years ago" I heard then that tube company shared tubes. If
Balogny1Tube Company ran out of 6146's and weren't setup for them,
they'd call Silly Sausage3 Tube company and buy a batch from them, then
put their own labels on them. That's what I heard and I believe it! It's
called simple cheap economics. But do as you wish and good luck to you. Ron
