[Heathkit] AT-1 meter

Gentlemen; I sent a post a few days ago about a burned out meter on my
old AT-1.  What can you do? I decided to rewind the coil-got 1620 turns
of very small magnet wire. Can anyone give me an idea of the AWG of this
wire? The smallest magnet wire I can find in Mouser is 28, and I suspect
it's much smaller than this. Gary, K5JWK, used #41, which is a bit small.
A possible source would also be appreciated. Thanks. Charlie, K0GPF
