the reasons for problems.. is not following the instructions in the
manual..
which tells you how to adjust the oscillator in the reciever when it is
loaded by the transmitter...  it takes a little care .. but there are no
mods necessary .

These are one of the best set of radios heath ever made... only problem
I ever had with mine were the vox/tr relay coils getting weak. New
relay...and they worked fine.. before.. intermittant and annoying.
