  Hi Greg,

  The SB110A had a halfwave harmonic filter installed
on the output of the het. oscillator. That change was
made VERY early in the history of that rig and chances
are VERY slight you'd get a rig without it.
 I have a SB-110A here and have used it for some 15 years
now and considering its age, I'm quite impressed with it.
 The only thing I can tell you is that the neutralization of the
RX front end stage must be properly done or the noise 
figure of the front end will suffer greatly leading you to think
the receiver isn't too sensitive, but I can assure you if the
rig is working right you'll hear everything anybody else is
hearing. The transmitter on mine runs about 65 watts output
measured on a Bird 43.
