[HCRA] Old Time Software - anyone familiar?

Cool friend, cool box!
I ran into the RS/6000 boat anchors back in the day...they just ran! Pretty cool stuff. Do we know for sure it is a software issue? Sounds to me like it is more likely hardware related. Though, if your friend is running this for business, I'd imagine he'd know and it wouldn't have been able to sit idle for a number of weeks. Is it running headless? If so, POST might just be waiting for an update to system time....

Evening All,
I have a friend that sent me the following. Is there anyone that might be
familiar with it?
I have a RS/6000 44P Model 170 running AIX (not 100% sure on level). We
lost power over the evening some weeks back and I can't seam to get it to
boot up.
If you are, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with my desperate
friend.
