Greetings Foxhunters, Foxhunt, Sunday June 3, 2017 at 1pm - Host, Greg N1ZXL
 This hunt willbe conducted in the same manner that we have previously
conducted livefoxhunts.  The hunters will assemble at the Wapping
Elementary School, 91 Ayers Road in South Windsor,CT, be set up and ready
to start by 1pm.  The fox will take aroll call at 1pm on the BEARS
repeater, 145.110 MHz, PL tone is 77.0Hz.  This hunt will be conducted
using the repeater for allcommunication and information sharing.  We
encourage communicationbetween participants and any fixed based stations
that can supplyhelpful information to the hunters.  Onceyou have spotted
the fox you should stop all transmissions.  Payattention, if someone says
they are going to check an area and you neverhear from them again, that
might be a clue.  Remember not to hunt therepeater output frequency as that
will just lead you to the repeater. The foxwill not be there.  You will
want to listen on the repeater inputfrequency, 144.510MHz.  That is the
frequency the fox will betransmitting on. The fox will be located within 20
air miles from the starting point and not within Hartford or
Springfield. The fox will be on publicly accessible property that will not
requireanything other that a standard passenger car for access.
 If this is yourfirst hunt, we recommend riding along with someone who has
donethis before.
 Experience hasshow that the first hunters will start arriving in the den
about 1 hourafter the start.  The event has a two hour time limit not
includingsocializing in the den at the end. Currentinformation regarding
this and other foxhunts in Connecticut are onYahoo.  If you are not already
a group member, you may want to considersigning up for the Yahoo group
