That's right!

HCRA will be over at School Street Park in Agawam MA getting ready for
Field Day Tomorrow (June 27th). We will be arriving around 10am to start
putting together the antennas and the 4 towers that we'll be using
throughout Field Day.

We're still looking for volunteers to help with setting up, operating as
well as help tearing down and carefully packing up. So if you're
interested, just come on over! Even if you don't want to help out, Stop
over anyway and say hello! The weather forecast appears to be great for
this weekend. If you happen to know of anyone interested in Amateur Radio,
this would also be the perfect chance to show them what it's all about.

Field Day will officially start at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 28th and will
continue on until 2:00pm on Sunday.

There will also be a couple things going on at Field Day.

We will be having a Field Day raffle consisting of a YAESU FT-270R 2M VHF
HT. Nice solid radio. We printed 50 tickets and will be selling them
throughout field day for $5ea. Drawing will happen at the end of field day.
Winner does not have to be present at drawing but make sure to leave
contact info on the ticket!

Do you want to upgrade your amateur radio license or you know someone who
wants to become licensed? We'll be having a VE session right at field day!
It will start around 5pm on Saturday, June 28th. Please refer to the HCRA
field day page for more information.

We will also be starting our 250 ticket raffle at field day. This time it
will be for an Elecraft KX3 transceiver. It's a really great portable HF
radio. Tickets are going for $10 each and the drawing will happen when
either all 250 tickets are sold or during MTARA's hamfest in 2015.

For more detailed information (exact location, maps, exam info), please
visit our Field Day page on HCRA.org

If you won't be in the area and you still want to participate, you can
check the ARRL's field day locator for a Field Day near your location

We hope to see you there!
