George and I are all set for Field Day (until Murphy creeps up) and raring
to pound out a thousand CW contacts. Well, maybe 800 but 1000 is possible
with a little help from N4BAA!

The rig and laptop is tested and working, we've got spare keys & keyers,
power supplies and all the other cool things we will need to kick butt
compared to the 20M SSB station!

For those interested in the details:

Rig: IC 756 Pro II w/Icom power supply

PC: Dell D500 running N1MM, interfaced to the radio for band information and
CW keying.

Antenna: A dipole as high as we can get it!

Housing: My 25 year old pop-up camper, hopefully without ants (it's a long
story).

And just in case a spare key, keyer, pieces parts and a fan to keep cool
when we break the 1000 mark!

If you want to operate some CW come over to the little tan pop-up. Not
experienced? That's OK we can work with you at your speed to get you
comfortable on the air. It's all about the fun, not the points you know.

Field Day, the HCRA way, starts Friday afternoon at Dufresne Park for
antenna launching, then back at 6:00 AM Saturday morning for the rest of the
weekend. Come on down!
