[HCRA] Last Night's QRP Meeting

I'd like to take a short moment to thank all the club members that 'rose to
the challenge' and brought all the example equipment to the meeting so
others could achieve a better understanding of this interesting facet of our
hobby. Even more important than the equipment was the their willingness to
share their experiences, awards and memorable contacts as well.

And of course lets all give Jim, K1JAW a big cheer for pulling this all
together in a short 36 hours

If you somehow missed the meeting and/or would like a copy of the PowerPoint
presentation shown, including links to interesting QRP sites I've put that
presentation on our website. It is linked on the calendar page:

the link and choose to either view it within your web browser or save it to
your PC.

I hope last nights meeting got some of us fired up to perhaps build
something (remember Show & Tell is just around the corner) and to get out
there and operate. The next time you're on the air why not try turning down
the 'power' knob and see what happens? You might be surprised and before you
know it on your way down a different path with our great hobby.
