[HCRA] WB1Z will be QRV as multi-single from Brimfield for this weekends 10 meter contest!

Hey gang!

 

It looks like the move will be complete and I/we will be on the air for this
weekend's contest as a multi-single station.

 

I plan on using the club call WB1Z. The station will consist of:

 

Icom IC756 ProII transceiver

SteppIR 3 element at 50'

N1MM for logging

 

The station will be open for anyone in the area that wants to come and
operate on Saturday and Sunday. I just finished moving the rig back into the
basement shack and we will have plenty of room for guest operators. The
more, the merrier!

 

If you need directions just give me a call at: 413-237-4666. I've got the
entire weekend set aside for the contest and am more than happy to mentor
anyone that wants to try HF, contesting, CW or whatever. I'm sure we will
have a good time.

 

We also have a little good natured HCRA challenge ahead of us. That 'other'
club call, W1NY will also be on the air as multi-single and Ed says he will
KB (kick butt). On the line is a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card. So let's show
1NY us operators out in the boonies can KB too!
