Power Chapter Presents Seminar on
Broadband Over Power Lines (BPL)

BPL or broadband over power lines leverages new
advances in signal processing to offer an alternative
means of high-speed internet access, voice over
Internet Protocol, and other broadband services, using
medium and low-voltage lines to reach homes and
businesses. 

The debate is on whether this will be a viable
alternative? Will investments in this technology
surmount the challenges facing BPL development? Come,
listen, and learn from a lively debate covering the
various perspectives on this topic.

This is a day-long informative event with
presentations that include BPL - Impacts of EMC, BPL
Characteristics, Equipment Show and Tell, and Role of
the FCC, IEEE, and Regulators.
