Just had a QSO with VU4RBI (Bharthi). She is now operating QRO from inside
the 
hotel room. Informed me that she could handle a welfare QSP from W3UR and
the 
information was relayed back.

Electricity is restored at Portblair. Telephones are working off-and-on.
Tremors were felt again yesterday at 07:30 PM and 12:30 AM.  Most of the
tourists have returned back from Andaman to the mainland. VU4RBI was
operating whole night from the hotel lawn. 

>From today, VU4NRO/VU3RSB would start operation from the Deputy  
>Commissioner's office.

VU2MYH and VU2DVO proceeding towards Car Nicobar. VU4RBI asks all the hams
to 
listen to VU2MYH as he might be in skip with her and relays may be
necessary.

Heard VU4RBI taking down couple of welfare QSPs from VU2PEB (from Kerala). 
There were 8 messages from VU2PEB. She could reply back to 5 QSPs. She could

retrieve the information regarding the well-being of a few persons. They
(Omar, 
Mohammad Ali, Abraham Thomas..) are safe and sound. But two telephones are
not 
working.

VU4RBI is QSO with VU2HFR. VU2HFR tells that he would stand by on the 
frequency for relays. There was brief power cut and VU4RBI went QRP on
battery but 
returned back to QRO within seconds.

Heard HS0ZDY having a short QSO with VU4RBI.
