Kenwood TS-850S/AT FOR SALE: I've just upgraded to an Icom IC-756PROII,
and my Kenwood TS-850S/AT (auto tuner) is on the block <sniff!> with
matching power supply and mobile mic. This is a contest-grade HF
transceiver, purchased new in 1997 (80 mil serial number) and in great
physical shape.
It's equipped with Inrad 400-Hz CW filters in both IFs and an Inrad 1.8
kHz SSB filter in the 9 MHz IF.
For details on this transceiver, ARRL members may view the Product
Review from the July 1991 issue of QST
http://www.arrl.org/members-only/prodrev/pdf/pr9107.pdf. I've thoroughly
enjoyed using this radio, and it deserves a good home. The autotuner is
superb, and the receiver, which has dual passband tuning and a real IF
notch, is excellent. Transmitter offers full-break-in (QSK) and audio
compressor. Asking $950.
Also FOR SALE: Collins KWM-2 80-10 meter transceiver (round emblem),
vintage 1960 with manual and 516-F2 ac power supply. The KWM-2 is in
good shape (has a hardly noticeable dent on the front panel next to the
meter) and operational. With questionable hand mic. Asking $750.
(There's a very nice fully restored KWM-2 on eBay for the buy-it-now
price of $1,100 and no ps.)
But wait! There's more: Cushcraft R7000 40-10 meter (including "WARC"
bands) vertical antenna. This is a 28.5-foot tall no-radials vertical,
easy to put together and install and fits neatly on a small lot (it also
transports pretty easily). I acquired it new (it originally sold for
$510) and I have the manual. Reviewed in QST in August 1997
http://www.arrl.org/members-only/prodrev/pdf/pr9708.pdf (actually, this
IS the review antenna). It was up for a couple of years or so at my
former QTH. Asking $200.
I've also got an MFJ 784B tunable audio filter w/ manual that I no
longer need. Offers? Any vintage radio collectors out there? I've got at
three 1930s-1940s vintage consoles for sale. Some actually work.
Contact Rick Lindquist, N1RL, via e-mail n1rl at earthlink.net or call

avoid the shipping hassle, I'm offering these first to HCRA members.
