Hey gang,

4. The annual elections are just around the corner. Please check out the
slate of proposed officers in the next Zero Beat. You'll see that for the
first time in years we have a vacant position. With so many new members
aboard I hope someone will step forward and offer to help out with the
management of the HCRA. We need new blood to keep going strong in the 21st
century!

And last, don't' forget about Field Day 2004. Peter & Marty are working hard
to make this one of the best Field Days ever. If you haven't got your name
on the list yet what are you waiting for? This is a prefect opportunity to
get out of the house, enjoy a weekend of fun, radio, food and camping. A
great way to learn about setting up a station, putting up antennas (many
different kinds) and towers and of course operation. Held again this year in
Granby, MA at Dufresne Park. The park offers (in addition to Field Day!) a
fishing pond, hiking trails, kids playground and of course a pavilion with
food! Give Marty or Peter a call and let them know how you would like to be
part of this years operation. Read all about it at:
http://www.hcra.org/fd_2004.htm

That's it for now. For the first time in quite a few years two stars are
coming together this month. Hosstraders is not on the club meeting night and
the weather is supposed to be good. See you up there!
