2.  Starting Saturday afternoon, May 1st, is the third annual New England
QSO Party. This is a nice little HF Contest. A great way to be the DX for a
change. Everyone outside of New England will want to work you. There are
some nice prizes, plaques and certificates. See all the rules at:
http://www.neqp.org/. W1NY (HCRA Club call) is still available if anyone
would like to activate it this year. Remember, HCRA sponsors a plaque for
'High Score, Hampden County". It's been won the last two years by one of our
members, lets try to uphold the tradition.

3.  A week from Friday, May 7th, is our next club meeting. John, Kx1x will
be presenting an outline of his experiences at K2BSA from 2001. Anyone
interested in ham radio, Scouting or learning how to be enthusiastic about
everything above should plan on attending. As usual, nice raffle prizes,
coffee & donuts and of course great company. I hope to see everyone there.
