HCRA requested the use of the 146.94 repeater for talk-in to our Field Day
site if it becomes necessary. In the cooperative spirit of ham radio the
MTARA, through the decisions of Paul, N1FI and Bob, K1YO have graciously
allowed the use of the repeater.
HCRA thanks MTARA for their generosity, but cautions all HCRA members that a
FD talk-in is only part of what the .94 repeater is used for during the day.
Please limit your use to talk-in when necessary and if possible take other
communication off to either another repeater or simplex.
Only two days to the big event. The weather is looking better all the time.
This should really be a great time. I urge everyone that has even the
slightest 'curiosity' about Field Day to stop by. You will be thrilled at
the fun you will have.
Thanks & '73...
Jim, KK1W

Jim,
Congrats on the donation - wish you good DX with it!
Regarding the use of the repeater, feel free. One of the reasons for its
existence is to help coordinate resources in an emergency - FD is a
fitting test!
73 & enjoy - the weather looks great for the weekend
