Hi everyone,
Well, it's getting closer, and the forecasts keep changing.
Thanks to Steve, KB1GHC for updating the web site with weather forecasts and
his tips for keeping your feet dry!
I've just put the latest wx forecast on the site (from the weather channel).
Looks like chance of rain is going down but the temperatures are going up!
My best advice, look out the window before you got to FD, then choose your
dress accordingly. Overall it looks like the weather shouldn't be much of a
problem. See the latest at http://www.hcra.org
The propagation forecast is a different story. Low sunspot activity, coupled
with a coronal hole pointing toward us means pretty poor HF propagation. It
looks like a concentration on 80, 40 & 20 meters might be our best
alternative. Again, we'll check Saturday morning and make our decisions
then.
Of course, neither of these forecasts have anything to do with the "fun"
forecast. That is still forecast to be "high".
'73 and see you Saturday,
Jim, KK1W
