For anyone using the IRLP node:

Please refrain from using reflector 921 for casual ragchews. The owners
of
921 have run into a problem with bandwidth, and are requesting that
traffic
be diverted to other nodes.

At the same time, a new "Rag Chew" reflector has been opened up in
Indianapolis, IN. It is taking the place of the Denver reflector which
closed a couple of months ago. You can access it by pressing 9200.
(It is reflector #920).

For anyone NOT using IRLP:

Why haven't you tried it yet?
146.46 PL 114.8 SIMPLEX (make sure you haven't programmed
    an offset on your radio)

Friday Night Kid's Net:

I had the opportunity to listen in on the IRLP 4 Kids NET last Friday
night.
This is a regular net held each Friday night at 0100z (9:00PM EDT).
There were many young hams checking in from around the world. I will
try to remember to turn it on again this weekend, it is hosted on
reflector 5
(number 950) in Australia. I think it would be great if some of the
youth
in our area checked in. The exchange is simple, Call, Name, and Node
information. We are node #727 in South Hadley, MA, USA.
(If it is NOT turned on by 8:55 PM on Friday, would someone please
turn it on! Press: 9500)
