[HCRA] No Longer Trustee at MTARA

Peter,
Chet, W1HGJ and I have got an ATV repeater up in Monson.  We are running 
transmission test now.  In the next few weeks we will be hooking up the 
input and going full time on the air.  Would you like to become more 
involved?  This is just for fun, I don't go for taking Ham Radio too 
seriously so not a repeat of MTRA.

Take care, I hope you will still stop at the HCRA get togethers.  I'll buy 
you a donut (I'm a cheap date).

I didn't want this news to get around from the back door.  The new president
of the MTARA Walt WA1HHN, has mounted a successful drive to unseat me from
my position as trustee of the club.  Trying to be kind, I will just say that
the new administration of the club and I didn't get along very well.  I
always did my best in the position of trustee to look out for the best
interest of the club.  I accomplished a number of difficult tasks with the
help of the many people on the technical committee.  I wished the MTARA well
as I was departing.  This is as it should be.

I guess I will have a lot of free time on my hands now.  I don't envy my
replacement because of the time involved in the position.

I felt this email was necessary so that the information was right out there
in the public.
