Well, it appears our desire to activate tranquility Island on the US Islands Awards Program is probably not going to happen.  WHY YOU ASK – because the City Of Kerrville, TX sees us as a CASH COW and wants to charge us a $150.00 fee with another $150.00 deposit PLUS a $30 non-refundable application fee for the privilage of using the Tranquility Island Park for an afternoon.  They indicate ANY ASSEMBLY – I guess, even a group picnic is charged the same cost.  They even said we might have to get a “Permit” from the fire Department to run a generator there.
