There is an age old question about good news and bad news and which to share first and everyone has their own answer...the general consensus with the medical field is that if it's bad news. you need to give it first, get it over and done with and then give any good news after..I suspect it is to make you remember or dwell only on the good news...so here's the bad news...
I have a cancer in my only good lung...yes again ...that little puppy has been sitting there for six years twiddling it's thumbs not doing a damned thing and all of a sudden it has decided to make caca in my left lung.
good news is that they found it early and its still very small...
I have numerous options available to me at this point and we are exploring Cyberknife treatment...which doesn't involve a knife at all but extremely high doses of radiation. I have known about this for a few weeks now and only my family and one spicy redhead knows about it as I just have had a hard time letting go with the news because I didn't want to worry anyone....
There really isn't anything to tell beyond what I have divulged because the diagnosis is still so early and the treatment in the early stages and I promise will keep you all posted as time goes on and if and when there is anything to tell...so please remember that the I'm not going to be sitting her sucking my thumb and I certainly don't want anyone worrying about me...Please...Ruthieg
