Needed to place an alternative (call it a backup ) water line under our road since the County is repaving and will dig the trench for me and pave over it for free.  Am putting in 30 feet of 4 inch that protects two 1 inch water lines and a 1 1/2 inch electrical conduit for future use if I were to purchase the land on the other side of the road from my neighbor.   Has anyone seen the cost of 4” PVC lately???  $19.33 for a 10’ section, $4.00 and change for each coupling.  WOW!!!  Need 17-18 sections to get to where I want to put my tower.  Am going to have to rethink what I put the coax and rotator control lines in to protect them – maybe in the 4 inch lighter duty pipe that has the holes along the bottom except for where it runs under my road where I would use Sched 40 PVC.

Any other ideas??
