[HCARC] Texas QSO Party From Palo Duro Canyon State Park

It might be the closest thing that most of us ever get to go on a DXpedition of sorts.  I sent the Palo Duro Canyon folks an email today to find out more particulars – like if the cabins are already booked or how to book them in advance.

I can see this ”CQ CQ CQ, this is N5BAA N5BAA calling CQ Texas QSO Party from the rim of Palo Duro Canyon, Texas and standing buy for a call.”  And then the radio explodes in QSO’s – livin the dream!!!

      Is anyone interested in a weekend trip to Palo Duro Canyon State Park next year to operate from there during the 2015 Texas QSO Party??  I sent an email to them inquiring about the availability of their cabins that they have that are located on the rim of the canyon and that have electricity and air conditioning.
