Gary:
I use N1MM for logging in contests. It is free and designed to keep track of
scoring for dozens of different contests.
I use Logger32 for my regular logging. It is also free and does everything I
need it to do, including computer control, tracking awards, links to LOTW
and eQSL, rotor control, CW keyer, Packet Cluster support, links to digital
mode software, etc., etc. You can find more info on their website, just
Google "Logger32".

Subject: [HCARC] Logging and Computer / Radio Control Programs
I have a copy of N1MM logger that is installed on a laptop computer that I
purchased from Frank Edwards. We used this computer and this program to log
contacts at Field Day. Dale Gaudier uses a different program that I have
seen in his shack, but I can't remember the name of it. I think John
Heucksteadt uses something different, and I am not sure what we use at the
club station. Ham Radio Deluxe seems to have a very high end one that used
to be free and now costs about $100.00. Many others such as N1MM are free.
A DXing book I have lists about 25 other programs, none of which I know a
thing about. I would like to open a poll of which logging programs you use
and why you use that particular one, and if you would recommend it and why.

Free - it came on the computer I am using for logging.
