I believe that wattage is an essential part of the expected usage and is required to know in order to determine the size of the panel and batteries needed.

Also, you mentioned batteries from Costco.  You might want to compare their price to what the local golf car dealer sells the Trojon 105.
I bought 4 there and the difference to me was not worth the trip to SA.
