Just the metal part changes, until you go above 45 amp. The plastic shell is the same for 15/30/45 amps.
Hint: I'm finding it easier to solder the 15's than crimp, if I'm using small diameter / gauge wire. Otherwise the wire likes to break off too easy. These type connectors really don't like to use stuff in that small gauge range.

Question on Anderson Power poles. They come in different amperages/sizes. In comparing say a 30 amp power pole which is for 12-14 gauge wire and a 45 amp power pole for 10-12 gauge wire - what changes. Does only the metal part that clamps to the wire change or does the red/black plastic housing change also??
