Harvey,
My reference to atmospherics was based on my military com. time and also to what I just finished reading in the ARRL General Class license Manual pg, 7-10. This is another of those subjects that would be great for a discussion at our meetings. Jerry has some very interesting data that cold be the basis for enlightenment from some of the more knowledgable members of the group. I am but a neophyte.
