Ashley,

I'll try to help.  First a couple questions.  Do you have an SWR bridge or 
does your transceiver (XCVR) give you an SWR reading?  If so what is the SWR 
in each of the bands at the frequency the antenna is tuned to?  Do you have 
any radials for the antenna or what are you using for a ground?  Lets start 
with those.  In the meantime I'll see if I can find a 5BTV manual.
