Not really, BUT.......

A little over a year ago I took Dale's course and got real interested in Ham radio. Interest still burns very bright - a good thing.

About 6 months ago, Dr Jim talks about "Museum Ships On The Air" and it sparks an interest in both my dads WWII Navy time in the pacific war, as well as my Navy Career - result -about 6000 pages of very interesting reading. Keeps my brain functioning (maybe delays Old Timers Disease - seems to have worked for Bill T quite well - the Brain Functioning part keeping him young)!!!

Then about a week ago, Harvey makes a post about CoCoRAHS. Didn't have a clue what these cute little things might be, but an internet search revealed another old time interest - weather. Just might have o star reporing rainfall from Cener Point.

Then the other day while attending Dale's newest Tech Class (BTW, he is teaching them things I don't remember him teaching me :-) ) Dale admits to a second passion (maybe third if you include his sweet wife - not many women are willing to give up a months worth of Saturdays a couple of times a year) which is astronomy which is what I did when I was a kid instead of radio (big mistake). Anyway Dale admnits to not only a telecope, but virtually an observatory. Dale must be licking his chops with the recent and still to come comets this next year or two.

Look guys - I need to be able to sleep sometime - just kidding of course.

Thanks for all of you for all you have enhanced the quality of my life over the past year. Who knew you could still learn things at 64.
