Actually, I screwed up on the date of the Christmas parade. It's on Saturday, December 8th, not the 11th.   :-)

Remember the big Bandera 100k run on the 2nd weekend of January.

Volunteering for Public Service Events is a good way to:

1) Prepare for emergency situations – You will quickly learn what items to take and what items to leave behind.  Comfort is important.

2) Better understand your radio gear – You will be forced to learn how to program your radios as well as learn about and use some of the radio’s functions that you do not use at home.

Volunteer!
