Kerry-
Bob Richie suggested we switch to 40 meters for a quick test but not on
the other bands.
I ran a test late one afternoon with Terry Hipskind of 10 through 80
meters and we found 20 meters to work best but I'm not sure what would
happen @ 7 pm.

At night, the only band that will support NVIS is 160m. 160 is probably not
a very good choice as it is difficult to get a low compact antenna that
works on that band. 80 and sometimes 40 would be acceptable NVIS
frequencies during the day as well but antennas are sometimes a challenge on
80. I've worked K5XA, AC4CA, W4WJ, N5P and others on CW on 80, 40 and/or 30
m. I thought Gale had already done a test after one of the ten meter
sessions as well as a check with one of the other stations.
