Antenna Work

Tower: Climb and take off Thrust bearing.
Make measurements of top
Make template for pipe flange
Tools: 1/2 in. ratchet wrench, wrenches; 7/16, 1/2, 9/16 in.
Tape measure, paper, pencil
Rope 100 ft. and pulley
Bucket

Drill holes for pipe flange:
Tools; Drill, corded with bits; 1/16, 3/8, 7/16 in.
Center punch, hammer
Ext. cord, 100 ft.

Mount pipe flange and nipple:
Tools:  Ratchet wrench, open end wrenches
Pipe wrench
Bolts, nuts, lock washers; 3/8 in.

Cable work:
Loosen coax's; label cables
Tools:  Knife, clipper, tape, marker pen

Mount box:
copper strap, hose clamps, de-oxit

Prepare cables:
Cut and terminate Coax's :
Tools: Dremel tool with cutter wheel and grinder
Knife, soldering iron with sponge, water, vise, solder, pliers

Dress and secure cables:
Tools: clipper, cable ties

Mount Remote Coax switch:
Tools:  Pliers, nut drivers, tape

Mount R5 antenna:
Tools: screwdriver, nut driver, adj. wrench

Re-label connectors inside station
Tools: tape, color pens
