Bill-
I'm usually on the HF bands and typically not 50 Mhz (Not allowed), 2m or
70 cm but I'm sure there is someone in the club that has had experience on
the higher frequencies and can provide you with some type of feedback.
I know when I was playing with satellite in the late 80's early 90's
there was a Yaesu FT-736R that had modules one could purchase for the bands
you have mentioned. It's a fixed base station rig and not a mobile rig.

Subject: [HCARC] 6M thru 70cm
To all:
At the present time, I don't have a radio that covers these bands (6M thru
70cm). Can anyone offer suggestions on the best way to accomplish covering
6M, 2M and 70cm in particular in an economical way? Is there any activity
on 1.25M?
Any advice is welcome.
73 and thanks
Bill Anderson
