Renowned maritime historian John Maxtone-Graham  has completed a new book 
entitled "TITANIC Tragedy."  The book is  much more than just a re-hashing of 
the great tragedy of 1912, i.e. "Rather  than offering simply a detailed 
retelling of the TITANIC sinking on  her maiden voyage, John Maxtone-Graham 
devotes his considerable knowledge and  impeccable prose to a discussion of 
salient, provocative, and rarely  investigated components of the story....."
 
    Of particular interest to many radio history  buffs and CW operators 
will be the first chapter, "The Wireless  Miracle."  I was privileged to 
receive an advance copy of the book from  the author and this chapter is a great 
read on the early development of  maritime radiotelegraphy.
 
    The book will be available in hardcover as  well as digital format 
beginning on March 12, 2012.  Anticipated  pricing is $15.96 for hardcover 
(Amazon) and $9.99 digital (Amazon  Kindle).
