The TRULY remarkable prices are for "audiophile" capacitors.  It's totally moronic what is said about them, and prices to match - frightening, is that people actually PAY that for em.  I think I'm in the wrong business; I should be wrapping Vishay/Sprague electrolytics in gold paint, and selling 'em by WEIGHT.

Wow! That’s a crazy price. Prices on eBay confuse me. I can buy a quality new manufactured transformer for less than the price of a 50 year old used one on eBay. Tube prices are generally the same. I can buy a NOS tube from a reputable dealer for less than a questionable tube listed on eBay. I still buy a lot of stuff off of eBay. I just find  that, when it comes to vintage electronic parts, they aren’t a place for one stop shopping.
