[HBR] Really Nice HBR-16 For Sale

Kees and all, Yes it is a surprise that there are still folks interested in the HBR series after all these years.  What a fabulous legacy for W6TC.   I’m sure it is the wonderful nostalgia that it brings.  So many of us remember reading out the HBR series in QST back then.  Owning one gives us a chance to experience a little bit of the excitement and buzz of that era.  

 My HBR-16 maybe be sold to a fellow within driving distance from me.  He is reviewing the pictures.  The 17 is still available.  That is one receiver that I haven’t seen for sale at all.  I’ve seen several 16’s, 14’s and 11’s over the years but never a 17 and only 1 13C which I bought.  With the 17 I’ll include original Alex Stewart correspondence with the builder.  I”m keeping the 13C for reference until I’m done and satisfied with my HBR-13 non_C project t(hat is taking way too long) and then I’ll sell the 13C.    At that point it will be time to build a transmitter.
