[HBR] Product detector for CW?

Hello TC,

~ Basically (distilling this down), the PD enables CW and SSB reception
WITHOUT clamping down the AVC/AGC function, like usually occurs with turning
the audio gain UP and using the RF gain as the volume control.  Best demo I
ever saw was on the Drake 2B (that I love and have).. the difference between
modes is VERY OBVIOUS.

So, it sounds like the product detector is well worth building into an HBR
for CW. And I can imagine that there will be situations where I would like
to have good SSB reception as well.
