[HBR] HBR's in 2014?

We have been playing with a 12AT7 crystal controlled osc/mixer followed 
by  6CL6's and operating "transceive" using our HBR-14 osc circuit to 
drive the circuit via a small phone jack on the rear.  Plug in coils are 
used for 80 and 40 meters.  Still in the breadboard stages. Portions of 
the circuit based on circuit in 1962 Radio Handbook page 559.
