They have a small (tabletop) model that goes for under $100 and works
fine for many jobs. I bought mine at a fleamarket maybe 20 years ago.  

However I find I can do more accurate work with a hand drill in most
cases.  It's all about control and when I'm cranking that thing I can
stop instantly if something is going off.

The key is accurate layout, centerpunching, and supporting the work
area so the drill doesn't walk downhill due to the chassis bending.
AND sharp drills ...

It might be a bit slower but when considering the higher frequency of
exactly right, the difference is small.
