Cal,

It ain't no S-38, but it is the easiest of the HBR's to build. However,
it also features Ted's developments and improvements over the years as well
as the new multi element tubes.

Go for it, but give yourself the room to upgrade it to an HBR-11 as Ted had
originally conceived. Then you'll end up with one of the best of the HBR
receiver designs.

Has anyone built the HBR-8? I realize this is the lowest tech of the
HBR family, but is this the "S-38" of the series performance wise?
Thanks. Cal.
