[HBR] HBR-8 questions

While I have never built or used an HBR 8, I would bet that it is a few
steps up from the S 38.
The HBR 8 was intended to be an entry level receiver, provided credible
performance and that could be easily expanded to an HBR 11.
I have built and used the HBR 11, 12 and a couple HBR 13s. In my opinion the
HBR11/12 was very much comparable to any of the others.
I think this was also the opinion of the master, Ted Crosby.
Good luck with the project. I don't think you will be disappointed building
an HBR8.

Subject: [HBR] HBR-8 questions

Has anyone built the HBR-8? I realize this is the lowest tech of the HBR
family, but is this the "S-38" of the series performance wise?
Thanks. Cal.
