[HBR] HBR Wrapped wires

I'm in the Commercial Fire Alarm business; each device on a data-loop or 
zone-string has "wires in - wires out", that is, each is on a terminal, but 
never more than 2 conductors per terminal - the idea being exactly as J. 
Young says - if any ONE conductor falls off, get broken, or is cut, the 
"supervisory" circuitry tell you there's a "trouble".  It's a principle 
that's worked for years, and I never knew that NASA used the same thinking.
