[HBR] HBR 8 vs 13C : )

Of all the HBR's I have built or been associated with I like the HBR 12
best. It is very similar to the HBR11 except that the 12 has a seperate tube
for the first mixer and another for the oscillator.
I agree with the logic of others re power supply. The next one I build (?)
will have a seperate speaker/power supply chassis. Not authentic HBR, but
this allows the same spkr/ps to be used on many different projects. It also
allows one to "compact" the HBR itself.
My projects don't look as good as Tom's but, like he, I thoroughly enjoyed
the experience.

Echo:
Although my HBR-11 is built in the original config, I would have to ECHO
Breck's suggestion to put the PS in another box. It makes life a lot easier
(and cooler).
