[HBR] 160m coils for HBR-11?

I found a comment
made by Ted Crosby in his HBR-13 QST feature:
 
"Often,
I’m queried about font-end coils for the broadcast and 160-meter
bands.  Sorry, but these are
impracticable; the range of the tuning capacity too small for the required
frequency coverage at these relatively low frequencies.  Also, in both instances the
frequencies are too close to the receiver’s first i.f. for
trouble-free operation."
