Subject
[HBR] Building new radio...

While in the process of clearing out my garage and basement, I gathered a
pile of HBR-centric parts. Enough to build at least 2 radios, maybe 3.
I've
even found a couple of NOS dials... sadly they're National and not
Eddystone, but useable. Tubes, sockets, a few coil forms, an HBO-style
drive, IF transformers, etc.

Since I've always wanted to build an HBR or something similar, I think now
is
the time.

But I wonder... for those of you who have experience with these recievers,
if
you could build any tube-type reciever, what would you build? I have some
ideas of my own, but what says you?
