Was looking at building an HBR16 and have some nice 85KHZ IF transformers.
wondering if using them without modification on 85 Khz would pose any unexpected problems?
These are kind of nice in that you can vary the coupling by adjusting a rod that sticks up thru the top of the can, they also have air variable trimmers.
