At least SOMETHING GOOD will come out of an RME-45.  I've had one in the 
shop for a while, and not ONE schematic matches the one that's here - it's a 
cusp of a '45 and a '45B that's not to be found, anywhere.

Take the gearbox apart, clean it, and reinstall high-temp aircraft type 
grease (NOT LITHIUM), then reassemble - the gear reduction will povide 
WONDERFUL bandspread, but you'd better get a spinner knob.
