Sounds exactly like what my HBR-11 does.  The '706 is a very useful tool - much faster than a counter; also easier than a GDO.  When I wound the 80m coils, it did take me a bit of brain-activity to simplify the instructions (for myself).  The old doorknob is STILL the best anchor for handwound coils (the wife just stared, turned around and went inside, shaking her head with wonder).
