[HBR] 7360 product detector

My email was the latest of a thread that took place off of the reflector that 
started with the 7360 mod published in QST.  I used this in my HBR-16.  The 
results were mixed.  As a product detector, the 7360 worked just fine.  
However, I couldn't get the 7360 product detector circuit, as published in QST to 
work with the original Crosby AGC circuits. Other contributions to that thread 
mentioned an audio derived AGC/7360 design that may have had some problems in 
some of the HBR builds.  As I mentioned in my email, I eventually abandoned the 
7360 in favor of Ted's 6BY6 product detector.  That, of course, worked with 
his AGC circuit.

I'd be interested in seeing the product detector and AGC circuits from the 
Radio Handbook.  I only have one edition of the Orr book and it's not in it.  
I'm very pleased with the performance of my HBR-16 right now, but academically, 
I'd like to look into this a bit more (if for no other reason, I still have 
two perfectly good 7360's, hi).
